Meet Dr Antoni Caserta: Enhancing Paediatric Podiatry Services at Footlab+
At Footlab+, we are passionate about helping children move confidently, comfortably, and in a way that supports lifelong foot and lower-limb health. To strengthen our growing paediatric podiatry service, we’re excited to share that Dr Antoni Caserta has joined our team, bringing extensive experience in children’s gait, movement development, and functional podiatry.
Whether your child is experiencing pain, toe walking, difficulty keeping up with peers, coordination challenges, or simply moves in a way that feels “not quite right,” Antoni offers a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to assessment and care.
Why Paediatric Podiatry Matters
A child’s foot is not just a smaller adult foot — it is an actively developing structure. Foot shape, strength, and movement patterns continue to evolve well into adolescence. Early guidance can make a significant difference in how a child walks, runs, plays, and participates in everyday life.
Children may benefit from a paediatric podiatry assessment if they show signs such as:
- Toe walking
- Frequent tripping or clumsiness
- Foot, knee, or leg pain
- Fatigue or difficulty keeping up with friends
- Flat feet or unusual foot shape
- Coordination challenges or delayed motor development
- Growing pains
- Gait patterns that seem unusual or inconsistent
Early assessment helps identify what is typical, what may change with time, and when supportive intervention is appropriate.
